Beginner Camera What cameras would you suggest for a beginner photographer?

Think some about what you will use the camera for. Is it (ultimately ??) for professional or serious non-pro work, as a photography student, for occaional/casual snapshots at home and on vacation, etc. What types of photographs do you want to make with it? What is your budget? This will heavily influence your decision. -- John
