White on White How do I achieve shooting a white object on a white background, with black and white film, with minimal shadows?

Assuming you don't have studio lights, get you off camera as much as possible. Buy a soft box for your flash, they are inexpensive, attach with velcro, and fold up to fit in your camera case. You can also try bouncing the flash of a white ceiling. All of this may involve buying new equipment since you didn't say what kind of camera or flash your using.

I thank you for the info. I have actually figured it out. I do have the flash units available. So I set up a tent for tent lighting, and I used a swoop table, had my subject on the swoop table, and photogenic flash units set up on all angles to avoid any shadow. Then I opened my f-stop one stop greater than my flash units. It seems to have worked. I really thank you for the response. joe
