Blown out highlights Digital


 
 
I am using the Olympus E10 Digital and the SB26 flash. The camera sitting ISO is 160 and contrast normal. I am getting blown out highlights in all Wedding Gowns and most light colored clothing. Need help.

Wayne Attridge 		  It sounds like you are getting harsh light from your flash. The cheapest thing to try is to cover the flash lens with a Kleenex held on with an elastic band. Try it. It softens the light as does a purchased diffuser and the results may surprise you. I picked up this tip from a news photographer.
