Which is better a Canon elan 7e qd or a Nikon n8


im looking at buying a camera kit , and ive narrowed it down to a canon eos elan7e qd kit($669) it includes :ELAN 7E QD Camera body.

Ive heard good things about both cameras . I take alot of scenic artsy type photos but I more so take action photos( bmx, skateboarding etc) I take alot of pictures at night and I heard that the canon isnt the best for low light situations. , Whats better ?( any help would be greatly appreciated

They're both capable, comparable camera bodies, and the lenses you've listed are basically comparable also. My advice is to find a store that sells both, go there and handle them. Look at which feels more natural in your hands, especially with balance (with lens attached) and control placement. Ease of handling for the type of photography you've mentioned will be crucial in getting an acceptable "yield rate" of "keepers." Don't expect every photograph to be perfect; it won't happen with fast moving action work. This type of photography requires some practice and experience that no amount of automation can compensate for.
