Camera type I was out shopping for a manual slr camera and found this guy who is selling me an old camera called PETRI. Now could someone tell me whether this is a reliable camera since here in Kenya (East Africa) all the camera shops I've gone to, now seem to know this brand of camera..

Petri is not sold any more, partly because the cameras had a reputation for unreliability. Nikon and Canon are the brands to look for, Minolta, Pentax and Olympus being cheaper and just as good in most respects.
