Black and White print definitions

What are platinum prints and silver gelatin prints? Are they different from the printing papers that you can buy from the major manufacturers like Ilford or Agfa?

In your average print the developer reacts to the silver in the emulsion coating...In a platinum print..you know how you see jewelry that is platinum and its super expensive? Well thats just it, instead of you buying regular RC or fibre paper, you buy platinum and the effects are kinda cool...but its hard to find the paper...heres a website

a Silver gelatin print: there is the emulsion layer on your film that is made out of gelatin with light-sensitive silver salts. Those salts are suspended in the gelatin. Hope that makes sense.

So what's a silver gelatin print? I work with Ilford fiber based paper and I'm wondering if it's the same thing fine art magazines call silver gelatin.
