Rating Score My rating used to be about two hundred points higher? How do you lose points? I did scale back the number of photos by about 200 so I am wondering if this is why.

If you just took images off display, I wouldn't think anything would be affected. But if you deleted them, maybe you lost all the "credit" you had for comments you'd made in response to people who commented on yours or for favorites if others had favorited your images, etc. I have never bothered to even figure out where my "score" is much less what it is LOL

When you click on the pancakes, it tells you how many photos you have displayed, the type of gallery you have and finally, the score. I commented on a couple of photos and it went up a couple of points. No big deal really and it is not that important to me. I was just curious.

Nikki, I have noticed the score many a times, but don't know what to do with it? I have no idea as to its purpose and how does it function, what makes it go up or come down? I don't know if there is a page where the scores are ranked for all BPers? And what does my current score of 7664 really mean? I think Jim should clear the fog on this as without understanding its purpose, its just but a number! UB.
