AnnaMolaPhoto email Anyone else out there receive an email through BP from Anna Mola Photo about participating in an art show in Italy? Sounds like a blast email as I don't recognize the name. Legit? I'm just suspicious that it's a con wanting money to send in a photo. But there IS a photo web site with the address provided in the email.

Carol, that sounds rather suspicious. Did she say anything about "your" photos, or that she liked them, or anything to personalize the e-mail? I would be leery.

It sounds personalized. Lack of responses in BP sounds like it wasn't sent to everyone. And since she is in Italy, she may have some across my photos because I have previously sold to a British magazine. Email said: Dear Carol, I still think it would be risky to print and frame a photo and ship to unknown source in Europe and probably send in a gallery fee.

Carol, then it's up to you...trust your intuition. Contact her and find out about the details. But if she asks you for money, then that should be a flag. Just have your eyes open.

Looks like just somebody with a blog trying to put together a photo contest or show. May be rinky-dink, but not necessarily a scam.

I think she is legit however she wanted a gallery fee and I was responsible for shipping and insuring art work. I declined.
