Photography Question

RoxAnne E. Franklin

What kind of background system is best?

Want to buy a portable background system and there are so many I'm confused. Do I buy a system that holds muslin backdrops or paper backdrops? I like the backdrop support systems in a bag that expand to 12 feet high. But I would like to find a complete system that includes the backdrops. I dont want anything fancy, just maybe white, black and blue backdrops. But again, I want to buy the entire system. Any suggestions as to the type of system and where to begin looking would be great. I've already searched the B&H site and havent been happy in what I found.
Thanks!
RoxAnne

Although I have not made a purchase myself, take a look at www.dennymfg.com.
They have a wide selection and often send out emails with information on discounts. The site says, "Denny Online Store - World's Largest Manufacturer of Muslin Backdrops, Studio Props and other Photographic Supplies."

Thanks so much for your help. I asked the owner of the lab that I deal with and he said the advantage to paper is that you just pull it down, and when you're done, you pitch it away, no washing, no ironing like muslin. The disadvantage is that it tears easily, etc.
I am going to check out the website you mentioned.
Thanks!
