photo printing for professional photographers

Hi,

I am in the process of starting a business. Can anyone recommend an excellent photo printing company for professionals? I have a tax ID and I am ready to go but would love to hear thoughts about who offers the best quality prints. Thanks! Noelle

Lynn R. Powers
Mpix or White House Custom Color (WHCC)

They both do remarkable enlargements for approx the same price. Pick one.

You have many options for size, paper, cards, etc.

Hi. I use Zenfolio in my photo business and they use Mpix as one of their photo labs. I have used them for about a year and a half now, and they do a wonderful job on everything. Their product is excellent, they are very prompt on shipping and if you have never done a metallic print please try one.

My primary galleries are on Zenfolio too, and I've bought several things (including the fabulous metallic prints Tom refers to above) at Mpix. I've never been disappointed!

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate your thoughts. I've decided to use zenfolio and mpix pro for my printer.

Warm regards,

Natural/Abstract Photography
Noelle, I have used Mpix pro as my printer for about three years now and have always been happy with the quality and service. I've only had one problem. I believe the print had not completely dried and stuck to the envelope. I had the replacement the very next day. I hope you have similar good experiments with them. I agree with Tom about the metallic prints. I print all my "natural abstracts" on metallic and they make a huge difference. ~April

I know that this is an older discussion, but I just wanted to add my 2 cents worth! I really like White House Custom Color (www.whcc.com) and Meridian Pro Printers (www.meridianpro.com). Meridian Pro is economical and has very prompt service.
