Nikon equipment

I have the Nikon D80, but before that I used the 35mm Nikon 6006, so I already have this Lenses:
70-210 mm AF
20 mm 1:2.8 D AF
18-135 mm 1:3.5-5.6G ED and the
50mm AF lens
I want to stay with Nikon and I already read that the D700 have the benefits of using old nikon lenses, I am correct? wath about the D300s?
I also want to buy a portrait lens, can you recommend me some options? regards

I don't believe you will have any problems with the lenses you list. Before I went digital I had the N80, which I used with no problems with my D70 and now my D300. You will have a 1.5 crop factor with the D300 just as you do with the D80. The D700, being full frame won't have the crop factor.

Thank you very much Usman and Jeff.
I already study the compatibility lens page and it is very informative.
Thanks jef for your advice... now I just need to save money to buy the new camera.
regards to both of you
