Photography Question

Andrea

Digital courses only?

I just bought a Canon EOS Rebel K2 with a 28-80mm lens. It is not a digital. I couldn't afford it with the megapixels I wanted. When I can afford it, do you have any courses for non-digital cameras? I didn't see any in your course line up. I would like to take better pictures, but eventually I would like to take great pictures & be able to earn some income from them. Honestly, I'm moving really slow, so far. I don't even have the lens attached to my camera yet. Very busy but anxious to get started.

  Hi Andrea,
Thanks for your interest in BetterPhoto's courses, and congrats on your new purchase! Actually, a number of courses accept either digital or film cameras. Among them are these 8-week courses: Fundamentals of Photography Made Easy; Eight Steps to More Dramatic Photography; Creative Light and Composition; Mastering Light and Flash. In addition, for more advanced shooters, many of the specialized courses are open to both film and digital cameras too.

Four-week courses open to both are Understanding Natural Light, and all of the macro courses.

For a particular class, you can check the Requirements section near the top of the main course-description page. The Summer schedule will be posted soon!

Hope this helps, Andrea!

Thank you Kerry! If the course I want to take is full, can I get on a list for the next time it comes around?

  Hi Andrea,
Good question, but actually what you see posted are the Spring course sessions, and classes are well under way. The best bet is just stay tuned (i.e., check the course pages), and in a few days, the Summer session will be posted and you can sign up then! A tip: If you don't already subscribe to BetterPhoto's newsletters, they are a great way to keep up to date. They're free, too! Subscribe here...

Thanks again, Andrea!
Kerry
