memorize the book, drink a lot of coffee, shoot like there is no tomorrow, spend every penny you have on the best lenses, camera,tripod etc. and keep shooting some more. It worked for me. The only other thing that I highly recommend is that you never never stop learning and there is no place better to do this than Betterphoto.com.
