Hi Karl Yes, you can make a slide from any digital image, but if you are looking for hi quality there are one or two points you should note. 1. Image size: When you project a slide, it is similar to zooming in to your image in Photoshop. So when projected onto a wall pixels can become visible. To get over this problem you need to supply your lab with a 35x24cm RGB EPS or TIFF file at a minimum of 300dpi. This will create quite a large file size [about 34MB], but don't be tempted to JPEG the image as this causes deterioration in quality. 2. Contrast. By nature of the process, 35mm slides created from digital files tend to be a little on the contrasty side. I've found that with punchy images this doesn't normally cause much of a difference, but if your image is very subtle, such as a misty landscape at dawn, the end results can often be quite alarming. I know of people who use a very hi resolution monitor and photograph the screen directly. I personally don't think that this would work very well, but what the hell, give it a go and let me know. Tim
