I just bought this camera and it is being sent to me, what flash must I buy? is there one that wont cost an arm and a leg? I am a disabled Korean war vet on fixed income. Thanks for all replies.

There are many flahses that will work with that camera. Some are expensive and some aren't. The more expensive units will give you full TTL dedication but there are other alternatives. The Sunpack 144 ($40.00) will give you full auto with the flash's sensor as will the Vivitar 2600 ($30.00). If you don't mind spending a little more, B&H Photo has a Vivitar 850 in their used department that offers full Canon dedication for $79.00. They rate it a 9 and, from my experience with B&H, that is a very conservative rating. Should work like a brand new one and Vivitar flashes are good (unlike their current crop of lenses).

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY. It is folks like you that make this the great country it is.
