I have a 35 mm Cannon Sure shot. When taking photosat live music concert, how do you eliminate the blurred lights, and images? Also, Is 800 the best speed I can use?

Which specific "Sure Shot" model are you using? Canon has made quite a number of models since 1979; all under a very general "Sure Shot" name. From this I can look up the aperture and shutter speed ranges to get some ideas for you including film speeds.
