Looks like your camera is averaging exposure and you're shooting into light backgrounds. If your camera has spot metering, try to focus the meter on the subject.

Also, the flash on your camera may just not be strong enough. You might need to step closer to your subject so that there is a shorter distance between your subject and the reach of the flash.

In the Wedding-ch1.jpg it looks like you just metered the shot wrong, meter off the people and shoot. And correct me if I'm wrong but it also looks like as if your flash didn't fire. Flash gives off sunlight looking light..ie WHITE...and the whole pic has this reddish cast to it which tells me that the flash didn't fire (correct me if I'm wrong here though). dscf0011.jpg I can tell the flash fired (Cause of the white light hitting that persons back) you probably wanted to shoot whatever they were watching and your flash wasn't powerful enough to light up subjects at that distance. You can always try to just keep the shutter open for a longer period of time but in case you have a point and shoot and can't do that you might have to try more sensitive film such as 800 speed (or faster).
