Is it possible to make 35mm slides from .jpegs? Is it possible to print and mount slides for a standard 35mm slide projector from jpegs? If so, what software is required.

Yes - but the only method I know of is to take your JPEG into a photo lab that offers this service. When I looked into it, they required a 14MB file to make a decent looking slide. If your files are smaller than that, you might want to look into Genuine Fractals as a way to beef up your file size.
