Entering cloudscapes into contest

Hi folks
I have a question ... Into which category should cloudscapes be entered? I love cloudscapes and sky abstracts, but I've never had much luck getting EPs on them. In the past I would enter them in Catch-All because they don't seem to fit anywhere else, but of course that option is not available anymore. In July, I entered three of them in Elements of Design because they are absracts, but (assuming EPs are done for July) none got EP.
Any thoughts/suggestions/insights are welcome and appreciated!
Thanks
Peggy

Ahhhh, the good ole days with Catch-All. :-)

I'd try N/L

I too miss the good old days of the Catch All category. You might message Carolyn Fletcher for her advice as to which category to enter cloudscapes in. She does beautiful cloud photos.

I would probably try Nature and Landscapes. No, they are not land - nor are they sea. But they certainly are nature!! That said, I have always found it really really hard to get beyond an EP in that category with anything other than a landscape or seascape :(

Thanks for your thoughts, Ken, Dayna, and Nikki. I'll try NL when we can (hopefully) resubmit again.
Incidentally, I have the same issue with plant photos ... They don't really fit in Flowers or NL, so I put them in EoD or DD, as the case may be ...
Thanks again!
Peggy

I don't often enter them, but when I do, I usually put them in N/L...or occasionally, EOD, if there's a strong pattern. They are some of my favorite things to shoot, so I wish they were better received, but, on the other hand, I guess I understand why they aren't.
