It's whatever floats your boat, Marissa. What you like to shoot works for me. If you can find some of his work, check out a photographer named Lee Friedlander from the 1960's and 70's. He liked to shoot sidewalk scenes and reflections in windows. Oh and welcome to BP. ;>)

Yes, it's weird. But that's photography. Andy Warhol was weird and look what happened to him. All truly great artists are weird. It is what gives them the ability to see things in a way that the majority can't, and then to capture them in a way that the majority can also see. You probably have a brilliant future... or else we'll read about you in the newspapers.

I take pictures of everything... Sometimes it turns out to be a plus and sometimes I look at what I have taken shots of and scratch my head.. :) I say shoot everything, you never know what your next master piece will be!!! BTW, Welcome!
