Photography Question

How do I download ZIP plug-ins to photoshop CS2?

Not sure where I should have posted this, but I cannot figure it out.
I found some free plug-ins I want to try but I'm not sure how to work with the ZIP files and get them on to photoshop. Thank you, I am very new to this photoshop stuff!

  You have to unzip them (open them) first. Then copy and paste...the path is
Computer/C/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop/Plug Ins/Filters
It can be tricky, but that is the general way to get them there.

  Thank you Carolyn but I must be doing something wrong because I know I have it in the right place but when I open photoshop it is not there? any ideas? maybe I'm not opening it the right way.
The other thing I noticed is that all the other plug ins say "plug-in" and the one I am trying to put on says "actions" and instead of an 8BF file it is an ATN file do you know what that means? Is it not even a plug in? Thanks

A quick search for help on this and found these instructions:

Unzip it and move your .ATN file(s) to

Program Files -> Adobe Photoshop
-> /Presets/Photoshop Actions

Open Photoshop and open the Actions Window, go to option (right hand side arrow in actions palette) and choose 'Load actions' select required actions you want.
