More Eps for July. Good luck to all. Check your entries. Joannie, Today is the 27th. I'm sure they will have June ended by July 31. Today or tomorrow might be SFs. Finalists may be the day after that, followed by winners the day after that. (All predictions). I assume July first round might be done by August 1. Somewhere in August, I predict that we will have a two or three week period of no action what-so-ever due to vacations. Towards the end of August, July will get wrapped up in time for the 31st. I don't expect to see much early action with the August contest like we did with July. At least that's my predictions. I could be wrong!!!

Perhaps rather than a marathon, it will be a sprint or better yet 3 sprints. Very quickly, they need to knock off Bronze (SFs), Silver (Finalists), and Gold (winners). All that in perhaps less than 12 hours.

Yes, congratulations to all!!! New theme for October has been posted! And yes, we are back to the original rules. The summer experiment was a big success. We for one loved to see new images. I'm glad that many of you enjoyed the extra push (thanks for the emails). You can now resubmit as before... and I encourage you to do so, especially when you're photo gets into the Super Finalists but just doesn't make it into the 111 winners. Please do put thought into your entries, as always, and don't just upload the same photos each month if they don't get to Staff Favorites at least. While I encourage you to resubmit, I also encourage you again to keep pushing yourself to capture and create new images - out in the field or by enhancing in post-processing in a new and unique way. And enter into ALL the categories to increase your chances of winning! Again, I am awe-inspired by your excellent creative work. Keep it up! All my best - thanks for playing! Jim
