Entered contest in wrong catagory I entered a photo in the wrong category by mistake... is there a way I can fix or change that?

The only way I know (and use) is to delete the image and submit it again in a different category. Of course, if you entered it yesterday (or any day in August) the new submission will be for September.

Michael, I've been here many years and a long-time participator in the contest. And I'm agreeing with Natasha. It would be nice if BP could somehow allow folks to remove photos from the contest, including those entered last month.

I haven't tried this since the new 2.0 BP... but in the old version, if you selected a wrong category on your newly-uploaded entry today -- you could go back into BP tomorrow, and before you enter anything new, "enter" that same image (via the Photo ID#) into the correct category -- it didn't count as a 2nd entry -- and would "reclassify" the image into the new category -- then you could make that day's new entry/upload if you wished.

I just tried the technique that Chris mentioned. The good news is that it still works. The better news is you don't need to wait a day to make the change! Just submit it again in a different category. Same day works fine.

I haven't had to do it since the change-over, either, but you used to be able to do it until the end of the month. IOW if you wanted to change something entered on the 5th of September, you could wait as long as the 30th to change it.
