Do I need to buy UPC code for my notecards?
My question is do I need to buy my own UPC codes for my 4x6 notecards in order to sell them in a store or does the store provide the UPC cards for the cards? Cathie

Hi Cathie; You will need to check with the shop)s that will be selling them for you. Some may require them, while others may not. Most shops, I think, will. It alldepends on the cash registers.

A UPC code must be registered with the Uniform Code Council which is now known as the GS1. There are online third party companies that will register you for a fee and provide you the codes. Some also offer pre-printed labels for a fee. Google "upc bar codes" and you will see several. Ray
