I could be wrong but if they're located in Brooklyn NY, I think we discussed them a few weeks ago and everyone said they're no goodsky. There are a number of customer survey sites around that you should check with about these guys. Look at the Neighbor to Neighbor section at Photo.net or some others that I'm sure someone will mention. Most of the pros here, including me, buy our mail-order gear from bhphotovideo.com in New York. IMHO you can't get more reputable, better honest prices, and customer servce from anyone anywhere unless they're short changing you. By that I mean they open camera kits from manufacturers, remove items like straps, caps, batteries, etc., then charge you for them later on.

I'm not in NY. I'm glad I asked you guys here. They have a Nikon D80 for $209. I emailed to make sure it came with a battery and all I got was ra reply saying to call customer service. So I called and sat on hold for about 30 minutes before I hung up. I thought they were too good to be true! Thanks!

It looks like there's something seriously wrong with their price. B&H sells them in the 10.6 megapixel version with a Nikkor zoom lens for about $900 bucks. Here's a link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/484235-REG/Nikon_9425_D80_SLR_Digital_Camera.html And you're right: If the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Go to resellerratings.com and look them up. They pull a bait and switch and actually try to upsell you things that should come with the camers. And getting what you order is another story.
