Where to Purchase Equipment I own a Minolta Maxxum 5 and am looking to purchase some lenses and a flash for it. However, I live in a very small town about 2.5 hrs north of Toronto and there are no sellers with a wide range of equipment in my area. Either way, it looks as if I'm going to have to have them ordered in. Can anyone recommend any reputable online sources (not grey market)?? Any other suggestions?? TIA!!

Hello, I have used Samys Camera about 4 times. www.samys.com and they do not touch the grey market stuff. I have been very pleased with their service and not had any problems. give them a go... if you are not sure on the lenses you would like just ring them and explain to their reps what you want to do with your camera and they will advise you on the best lens to get. good luck - pamela

Hi, I have used B&H photo since 1982 and have never been diappointed with the service or the products. They do sell both American warrenty and "gray market" so be sure to tell them what you need. I order online about once a month at: www.bhphotovideo.com. Their prices are some of the best around. Good luck. James

I also use a Minolta Maxxum 5 as camera of choice!! bhphoto is my mailorder company of choice. If you can find a Wolf Camera store in your area they have a wide range of equipment. Some of their stores also carry used equipment also.

Peter, Wolf Camera and Ritz Camera are the same company! In my area Wolf Camera is the store most towns have!!

Tamara: I live in Southern Ontario and find that www.vistek.ca and www.henrys.com (located in Toronto) are excellent. Check prices on both. (Shipping will be less than from the USA, and you won't have to pay any customs broker fees.) Peter Burian, Contributing Editor
