WHAT LENES DO I NEED


I HAVE A NEW CAMERA, A CANON ELAN 7 E, I WANT TO TAKE CHILDREN PORAITS, WEDDINGS, SENIOR, AND FAMILY PHOTO, I'M LOOKING AT A CANON EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 is usm and CANON EF 85mm f/1.2L USM. WOULD I NEED BOTH LENES OR SOMETHING ELSE. THANK YOU

  Your answer is cheaper than you might think. Look at the 50mm f 1.4. Save money and consider the 85mm f 1.8. For groups, consider the 35 f2 or 28 f1.8. IF you must have a zoom, buy an L version. Be aware that zooms are notorious for distorting straight lines and even faces near the edges of the frame. Even good prime lenses might do this to a mild degree, so keep people away from the very edge of the frame. If you're planning to accept other people's money for your work, you owe them the very best.
