Lenses for AE-1 and T80 compatible?

I have recently made a small investment in an AE-1 and several lenses. I would like to purchase an autofocus to catch those shots of my kids that just don't allow you much time to focus. Would my lenses work with a T80? (both are canon fd mount)

T80 can use FD lenses, but they would still be manually focused.

The T80 was autofocus only with the 3 AC lenses: AC 50 f/1.8, AC 35-70 f/3.5-4.5, and AC 75-200 f/4.5.

I'd advise against buying a T80 kit. It wasn't a great camera, really, but it did provide canon with experience which led them into the eos line. anyways, for that autofocus kit, A rebel GII body with a EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens would be cheap, autofocus, and light. just don't drop it. The FD lenses that fit your AE-1 wouldn't fit the GII, and the EF lenses that fit the GII wouldn't fit the AE-1. stay away from the kit lens, and good luck!

Being a AE-1 user myself I have found that the more you use the camera the faster you'll become with focusing. I was just recently taking photos of my little brother-in-law's musical relatively easily and there's a lot of flow & action in that.

As for using your Manual focus FD lenses with an auto-focus camera, I don't believe it'll work. The lenses may fit on the camera, but you'll still need to focus manually, as Jon C. said.
