CANON PORTRAIT LENSES

Is the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM a good lens for taking portraits?

Obviously you've never read any of Monte Zucker's articles and books. He is one of the most respected portraitists of the late 20th century, an avid lecturer at PPA, and is still going strong today in his golden years. He writes a monthly column in Shutterbug now. Most of his images taken over the past couple of years has been with the 28-135 IS lens. Check him out if you want to see quality portraits taken with this lens.
