A good course for a first timer

What would be the best course to start with if I have never used a SLR camera before? I want to do this professionally later on.

Hello Serena, We have a nice lineup of classes taught online through Betterphoto.com. Choosing the best one that fits your needs may seem like a challenge. But the selection process may be easier than you think! Here’s how to proceed:

First, go to the Course Categories Page - there's a link at the bottom of the list of courses on BetterPhoto's home page, but here's the direct link:

http://www.betterphoto.com/photocourses/categories.php

Second, pick the category that best fits your interests. Third, simply click on any class that looks promising. Finally, be sure to read the course description, as well as the Course Outline and the Questions and Answers sections (there are links to both at the bottom of each description page).

Hopefully, this may answer your questions. But if not, feel free to e-mail heather at betterphoto.com or call our toll free number at 1-888-586-7337 for more assistance.

Still need help? Let me know!

Books help a lot. Iv found the absulute biginners guide to taking great photos useful. There is other books too. Kodak has one. There is also camera specific books too. HIt you Barnes and Nobel see what they got.
