Photography Question

Nora Bonosky

Are two courses too much?

I know the answer to this question is probably up to the individual, but in general do you recommend taking only one course at a time? If I sign up for more than one course with two or more different instructors, is that likely to be overwhelming? Thanks.

Hi Nora, this is a great question and you are correct, it is very much up to the individual. I can tell you that we have many students who take more than one class at a time, with the same or different instructors. The benefit of taking more than one class at a time is the "killing two birds with one stone" philosophy. You are already out shooting the assignment for one course, you can shoot for course #2 at the same time. We do recommend you set aside 3-5 hours per week for one course, that does not necessarily double with 2 courses taken at once. If you have any further questions, feel free to send me an email: heather at betterphoto.com.
Thanks!
