question on a lens can anyone please tell me about an old vivitar 70-150 3.8 zoom lens. I just it on my pentax K1000. sharpness, color transmission, distortion. Thanks Dave

Look at Bob Monaghan's web site on third party lenses. Yours may be mentioned in that voluminous collection of data and public comments somewhere. It's at http://people.smu.edu/rmonagha/third/ Vivitar varies widely in quality. Their original Series I lenses from the 70's are considered as good as any even today.
