Rebel X keeps showing bc. My canon rebel X, keeps showing bc in the display. I can't figure out why. I thought it was the batteries, so I put new ones in and it still is showing bc. I have also changed the film and it just rewound the roll past the loading tab. I Am wondering what could be going on before I waste more film and batteries.

The Manual says its one of two things: A. Batteries are Very Low (solution replace batteries) B. There is something wrong with the Camera (Take it to a service dealer, which in most cases means you need a new camera)

Hi, It's Melissa B. After further search and people offering advice we found out that the life expectancy for this camera is very short. Also the price to fix would cover a new camera. So I decided to take the plunge and buy a new one. My new camera is a Minolta Maxxum QTsi. It is still very new although 1 month old. I am still learning and appreciate any advice on it as well. Thanks.
