What does the score mean on our profile, mine went up with the addition of EPs... what is the purpose of it? Thank you, Ritajane

A good question, Rita. I am afraid that not much is known about the score. Like many at BP, I don't have a clue either. And its been here for sometime now. Lets hope, BP sees this and sheds some light on it one of these days.

I think it was a way to measure participation...going off memory, the more you commented, the higher your score went; if you "liked" a photo, it went higher. It was a way to get more participation on the site, and perhaps with more traffic, it meant better advertising, etc. The concept was good; participate and receive a higher score. But the higher score didn't translate to reduced prices for galleries, etc. Aside from a person's desire to see a "high" score, I don't think it had any tangible meaning.
