why are my pictures only half develped?

I stopped using my Canon AE-1 program camera years ago when it started developing half a picture. Is this something I can fix? Please direct me.

Well, first of all the camera doesn't develop the picture it exposes it. If only half of the frame is being exposed then it sounds like you either have a shutter problem or a sticking mirror. Take it to a repair technician and get an estimate.

I have my Canon AT-1 serviced by Steven at Camera Clinic because of light leak. He replaced all the seals, cleaned up inside and outside of the camera, fixed my 135mm lens for a very reasonable price, including shipping and insurance. I would recommend him since he fixed mostly Canon older cameras. Check out his web site and contact him (email or phone) about your problem. He may be able to help you.
