So for all of us Basic Gallery folks, who are allowed only one entry per day should take this opportunity and go over our faves which did not do very well in the past and resub. UB.

Hello, I have a question, would someone here be able to tell me how I'm a contest winner, which usually means for me, EP twice and there is no new EP icons anywhere... Ritajane - are you asking why no EP's after December 29th? If that is the question, the answer is that the judges have not made that far yet. Judging has gone as far as about December 27th, I believe.

And I'm hoping the have not completed the 9th, as my photo on the 9th has no EP. No, Bob, you are not alone, but after the end of the month and they take down the photos I was too lazy to check EP's. I'm just frustrated because if I cannot get a read on what I entered, I don't really want to enter kinds of things they won't like in Feb.

Irene, yes...often. I think they only had 5000 or so photos for January, so it doesn't take them long to catch up. I wouldn't read anything into it. But definitely check that link every now and then as it will help you gauge what day they're on, with EPs, if no one has posted on the EP thread. The link is found on the main "Contest" page.

I did know where to find Editors Picks but for some reason I thought that it would change at the end of one month to current month entries. I do like the static-date oriented lineup. The EP pictures used to be random.

Note that the order is by upload date before date of submission in the contest. So resubs are way back. That doesn't disadvantage them in any way, I'm just pointing that out so people won't think their images are not in the contest or something.

Good point Nikki. However, if they happen to have been selected as an EP in roughly the last three months (The approximate time-span that is included in that file) you won't be able to tell if they are currently selected into this month's candidates or just there due to the previous selection process. If they received the ep badge more than three months ago or received nothing before then if you see them in the ep file list, they are, in fact, alive for this month's contest.
