Can anyone explain how you can get over 700 "loves" in less than a week? Some others have over 600. How does this happen?

BP got attacked by a "spambot", but I have no idea if that's what caused it.

I apologize for getting 752 Love's on my photo for just Resting I feel it's just not right, when I opened my e-mail on Wednesday it had 752 messages that someone loved my photo, it was good but not that good. I sent the following to message to BetterPhoto and it should be self explained.

Hi Larry,

Thank you for contacting us.

BetterPhoto is currently under attack from a spambot program. We have shut down commenting until we can find a better captcha system to stop these automatic submissions. We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Our technical team is already aware of the issue and is working to resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks!

Happy photographing!

Best regards,

Team BetterPhoto

  Hi Larry,

I know you did not do this as it is impossible for one to
"love" their own photo that many times. I suspected a bug. I hope they can fix things. The only reason I noticed the 700+ loves is that I took a second look at your photo. It is a nice photo and very eye catching. Thanks for bringing it to the attention of BP. I was hoping my post would do that too just in case BP was not aware of it.

sounds like BP got hacked. This is really not all that uncommon in the business world, but I'm assuming Jim does not have the kind of IT security staff to quickly resolve and move on. What concerns me is why he does not notify all of us at BP as to what happened, so we will understand if it happened to us.
