New overhead polaroid flash I have the canon 70D and just bought an overhead flash. Does the camera setting need to be a specific type for the flash to sync with the camera? I had it working the day I got it but now can not get the flash to go off when I take the photo.

Put it on manual. Set the shutter to the sync speed. This an old flash? Didn't think Polaroid was still making any equipment. Check batteries, the test flash button, tilt camera vertical and horizontal to see if it's not connecting well in the hot shoe.
