Staying logged in I hate that everytime I go to BP I have to sign in. Please fix this BP.

I also have a problem with commenting on some people's images. When I click "discuss this image", it takes me back to the home page, to log in again.

Debbie, same problem occurs for me, on the "discuss." It's fine after someone has already commented, but when opening an image from a gallery, AND if there's no comment already, I'm directed to log-in page. And after I click "logged in...proceed", it takes me to the home page. There's no way to comment, unless I can find the photo on the "Recent Contest Entries" page.

I am still having that problem also. I emailed Jim and he mentioned I should delete my cache and cookies, and that should fix it. I did that and it did not fix it. It works until you close the browser, when you come back an hour later, you have to log in again... Before I would log in maybe once a month...When I get a email notifying me of a comment. I click on the link which takes me to the image commented on. In order to respond to the comment I now have to log in which instead of leaving me on that page, now takes me to the recent pictures posted...so I have to navigate back to the original page. I understand the concept of having a homepage, but really do not feel the need to have one ...I guess after doing something one way for the 9 years I have been a member, I am comfortable doing things that way...Why fix what was not broken?

I just had the same problem with trying to discuss an image in my friend Carol Quina s gallery called Double Dare. I clicked on comment and it took me to the "Big Picture" page. I had to go to "Recent entries" to be able to comment on it...I checked commenting on other images in her gallery and had no problem, just with this latest image...

I'm sure it might take a while to work out all the kinks. I do love the new layout! I finally got a chance to watch the instruction video and it really helps.

Same problem here. Cookies and all that stuff deleted (several times) and am still having to log in every time I get on the site, and sometimes just when I change categories or pages. Really frustrating, and I'm sure it's just as bad for BP, with all of us whining about it.

Jim, it's much improved for me too! Thanks for persevering! I think there's still a glitch when attempting to comment on a photo that doesn't already have an initial comment. This only happens if I'm in someone's gallery, versus from the Recent Contest Entries. The "Discuss this photo" link takes me to the log-in page. But I'm already logged in and an attempt to try again takes me back to the log-in page. The "Read Photo Discussion" link works fine.

Wow, the gliches are being corrected pretty quickly for the short term that the new Site has operated. Thanks Jim! The Login is working perfectly fine for me too!!

Double Ditto to both Jill and Mary's above comments. The glitches are being taken care of one by one so rapidly that I have to think Jim is working day and night tackling them...GET SOME SLEEP, JIM! :) (But we sure appreciate your sacrifice of shut-eye.... BP looks and "acts" wonderfully!)
