vari power flash operation I recently bought a used Vivitar zoom thyristor 285 vari power flash to go with my Mamyia m645j camera. Unfortunatly, the instruction manual was unavailable. Can somebody explain to me how to use the vari power fonction (full, 1/2, 1/4,ect...) for fill-flash? If my subject is, say, 10 feet away, backlighted, how do I select the aperture? Do I respect the distance-aperture scale of the flash? Thanks in advance.
