How to get computer to recognize digital camera I have a brand new Olympus D-230 digital camera and an IBM computer with ME software. The computer does not let the camera be recognized! I have all the plugs, but keep getting error messages. Any ideas?

Scott, I have the D-460 and use ME, as well. I wonder if you have another piece of equipment designated for the port your camera is supposed to use. I have a Palm Pilot cradle that I have to unplug so I can use the port for my camera. If I don't turn off the sync icon on the toolbar, my computer thinks it's reading the palm pilot instead of the camera, even though the camera is plugged into that port. Are you using the Camedia photo software that came with your camera? It won't read your camera if you have another device sharing the port. Hope this helps.
