  Hi Francisco,
Ah, BetterPhoto.com, offers a great lineup of online courses taught by top pros who are well-published and well-experienced. The classes are taught by instructors who have written books on photography and/or write for the top photo magazines. They are well-experienced as pros and in teaching.

Check out our courses by category.

As for NYIP courses, you might check their web site for reviews by their students. But I have to tell you that very few online or correspondence schools publish actual reviews - but BetterPhoto does! Check out our testimonials page, which includes a "what students are saying about specific classes" link..

To see how the classes work, take a quick tour or sign up for a free course preview.

Hi! I enrolled in the complete course at NYIP last June. Quite honestly, I am a little disappointed in the material. I really really wish I had found BP BEFORE I enrolled in NYIP. Not only for the money but the material. While, yes, I am trying to be a full-fledged professional photographer, I think I could have saved myself a LOT of money and tons of time to go BP and forget NYIP. I won't say that NYIP isn't educational, not at all. In fact there's tons of information. My problem was that my point and shoot digital wouldn't allow me the creative control that NYIP is after in the projects. And the information is aimed mostly toward film users not digital. Consider what you are after and then make your decision. I won't say it's good or bad, just depends on what you're after.
