Shooting a Wedding with a Cough!

Hi guys!
Help! I've got an awful cough, and I'm shooting a wedding on Saturday. Have you guys found anything that helps? Either a good cough remedy or something that will keep it quiet? Have you found any tricks for being quiet while sick during a wedding? What have you done? Thanks!

Continuously keep a throat/cough lozenge in your mouth. Ricolas are great - sugar-free, and they work - but there's a million of them out there. It keeps things moist, which keeps things from tickling which keeps you from coughing! Sounds like an ad! Good luck.

Vicks Chloraseptic will kill the tickle for a little while, too, if you can spray it discretely when your throat tickles. If you smoke, try not smoking until your cough is better.

Thanks you guys! I plan to suck on a lot of candy. I tried that the other day and it did help. And, no, I don't smoke... LOL, I'm not even old enough to legally buy cigerattes. :-)

They make a device for hunters called a cough silencer. Its a little device you cough in and it muffles the noise. I think you can even buy them at walmart.

I had a viral thing going on for a year! The only thing that stopped me from coughing were Fishermen's Friends (regular). Some people don't like the taste, but I actually enjoyed them. They are a bit strong, but did the trick.

Good luck! John

Mucinex with cough suppressant. If you have a "productive cough", one that involves coughing up a bunch of gunk, this product is amazing--you can get it at Walmart and Sam's Club.

PS--cannot but used with certain meds so be sure to read the warning label.

Don't forget to try the cough strips that dissolve on your tongue too. They work pretty good. If you can, try shootng using your cable release as much as possible. Good luck.

In the event you have another cough, I have another suggestion. Delsym Cough Syrup, now sold over the counter. One dose will keep a cough suppressed for up to 12 hours. Best check first with your doctor to see if it is okay to suppress a cough. Also Halls lemon-honey cough drops are pretty good too.
