Lens Needed for Landscape Photography

What are the best lenses to have for landscape photography? Currently I own a Tamron 28-80mm, and a Canon Ultrasonic 100-300mm lens. I use an Elan 7.

  Stephen,
There is no "best" lens for landscapes. Most think first of the traditional choice, a wide angle (shorter than 40mm). However, it very much depends on the image you desire. The majority of mine are made using wide angle and standard lenses from 18mm to 50mm. There are also quite a few made using 135mm, 200mm and 300mm telephotos. Look for a "picture within the picture" and don't forget that a telephoto can make a landscape photograph.
