Photography Question

Jane Summa

Where are my pictures?

In between reading and viewing I've been trying to find which pictures I've entered in the contest so far this month. Is there a way to do this?

  good question :)
I have gone the route of finding one of mine, then clicking on the camera name under the photo, and then going to "view photos created with this camera" (in the upper right corner of page)

maybe there is a more productive way someone else can recommend...

One way I've done it is to go to my sign in page. If you've discussed your photo, it will appear in the list of discussions either initiated or responded to. If you haven't discussed your photo, you can go to the camera in your list and view photos from there the same way that Kathryn suggested.

Also, if you write down the photo ID # when you add your photos, you can place it into this format:

http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.php?photoID=######

With the number of your photo inserted after "photoID=" instead of ######.

Hope this helps in the future.

One way to speed up the process if you choose to look for them by browsing through all of the photos taken by your camera is to view them in batches of 30 thumbnails. Then for each page simply do a "Find" for your last name. This should highlight each of your photos. This will be especially helpful if you're using a popular camera.
