Lamp on a Tilt

Rob,

Really neat photo, and I like the angle in which you presented this photograph. I REALLY love that filtering and have seen it in few other photos here. Nice job!

Thank you, Phillip! I have been back to this location 3 times, and until now have never gotten these lamp and awning images to work for me. This time, armed with my new Nikon D70 and Nikkor 70-300G lens, I found the right time of day and the right angle to shoot from. The fantastic colors that the D70 produces really helped too. I shot 32 pictures that day, and 10 were keepers. That's the best percentage I have ever had in one shooting. Yes, I love the D70.:)

Another of your graphic beauties, Rob, and it didn't look like you were having problems with your other camera, as witnessed by your previous creations :-) As always, a beauty of a job!!
Aloha,
Stan

Thank again, Stan, for your continued support of my work. Believe me, the D70 makes it much easier when I open the image in PS Elements 2. The colors, contrast, and levels are already at least 90 to 95% right on. And the USM required is half of what it took before. One more and....the speed that the D70 works at just makes the whole shooting experience go so much smoother.

Thanks again, Rob Bishop

Another fantastic image Rob. The lamp colour and angle do it for me. The D70s' certainly do a wonderful job by the looks Rob. I am saving for one myself, they feel great in the hand also.

Wonderful 'capture' and presentation, Rob, I love everything about this, including the 'D 70'. Yes it does makes things a lot better, easier and quicker. Very well done, my dear friend - your good friend, Allan

ps - the Nikon marketingt meeting is a 0:00 am tomorrow, I'll see you there, eright? (he, he he) You know how we 'Nikoners' love to promote and play with our toys, eh… 'A', …
