Hi All-I couldn't resist posting this for Dale's challenge, and also because Peter loves tulips so much.

I'm still working on Erin's portrait, but wanted to get this in before the end of the month. It may be a temporary post-I don't like to have two images up at the same time. I just needed a laugh today:)

thanks for adding to the challenge, Elaine, and it a swell image to. I love tulips and I like your diagonal comp.

As with Erin's pix, I think this could use a stroke to contain the background.

Like the POV though I would give it a nonstadard crop enhancing the vertical lines by taking off the last green leaf/stem on the right side. Agree with Dale on the stroke. Beautiful color and a much better smell than Dale's sample.

Gorgeous, Elaine. I definitely agree with the stroke around the frame and Mike has a good idea for the crop but I think both would work. It is tulip time, isn't it? Is it a store bought tulip or does Cleveland have tulips up already?

Thanks for the suggestions Dale and Mike! Here's the edit. I only wish the center of this photo was more in focus, but it was a quickie...

Debbie-NO tulips here! The daffodils are about an inch out of the ground. Spring is very delayed here. It has been in the 20s the whole month. It should be 50 by now.

And Kalena-I LOVE tulips-they are my absolutel favorite flower.

I am not taking this post down (even though I am breaking the rules with two-still working on the other) until I get a comment out of Peter. Peter-please do me the favor of making me laugh today-I need to hear you slam the tulips. It will make me smile:) Please?
