This scene has potential but it's too busy in this composition. The tree with the hole, as you wrote yourself, is distracting. Better to have focused on the clothesline, with the yellow sheet in the foreground and the blue clothes and shadowed wall in the background.

The perspective line of diminishing clothes adds to the depth. The repetition of rectangles from the sheets and windows is also visually interesting.

By the way, I would call this Sunny, not partial shade, since your subject is in full sun.
