The Searcher
A great number of John Wayne's movies were shot in Monument Valley including my favorite, "The Searcher," which seemed an appropriate nod to the scene here. This is "John Ford's Point" named for the director of some of Wayne's movies ... complete with the horse and rider. I loved the sky that day!
