My eyes started at the two crosses on top of the left and right towers... and only afterwards did I realize there was another rustic cross where flowers had been placed - likely to honor loved ones who have passed. Rickety ladder leading to the passageway between the towers - maybe to get up there and maintain (or ring) the bells.
